Welcome to PeekaSeat. These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with us. By browsing the site or buying from us, you agree to them.
1. ABOUT US
PeekaSeat is an independent brand. We sell in-car camera products directly to customers through this website. You can reach us at peekaseat@outlook.com.
2. USING THIS SITE
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, copy or scrape its content for commercial use, or use it in any way that breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice.
3. ORDERS
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we send you a confirmation email or ship the goods, whichever comes first.
We may refuse or cancel any order — for example if the item is out of stock, if there is an error in the price or description, if we cannot verify your payment, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of being placed by emailing peekaseat@outlook.com with your order number. After that, see our Return and Refund Policy.
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change at any time before you order. Prices exclude any duties, import taxes or customs charges, which are your responsibility where they apply.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an item's correct price is higher than the price shown, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel.
5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather or events outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.
6. RETURNS
Returns and refunds are covered by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. PRODUCT INFORMATION AND COMPATIBILITY
We describe our products as accurately as we can, but colours, images and specifications are for general guidance and may vary slightly from the item you receive.
Our cameras work with vehicles that support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It is your responsibility to check that your vehicle and phone are compatible before ordering. If you're unsure, email peekaseat@outlook.com and we'll help.
8. SAFE USE — PLEASE READ
Our products are convenience accessories, not safety devices, and not a substitute for proper child supervision or a correctly installed child restraint.
Always fit the camera securely and route cables so they cannot reach your child or interfere with the vehicle's controls, airbags or your view of the road.
Do not adjust, operate or watch the camera feed while the vehicle is in motion. You are responsible for driving safely and for complying with all local road and distracted-driving laws, which in some places restrict what may be displayed on a vehicle screen while driving.
Never leave a child unattended in a vehicle.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this site — text, images, design and the PeekaSeat name — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those companies, and we refer to them only to describe compatibility.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or our products.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. PRIVACY
Information you give us is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Ontario, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your own country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
